Our success is based on extensive training by our technicians and our exclusive Pro-Series® Flexible Resin. This product gives us the ability to:

  • Inject cracks from the inside of your home.

  • Penetrate the full depth of the crack.

  • Create a permanent waterproof barrier on the exterior of the wall, using the surrounding as a natural backer.

Foundation crack injections are an affordable solution to permanently stop water entering your home though foundation cracks, providing a superior repair without the cost or disruption associated with digging from the outside.

FAQ

  • Vertical cracks are typically the result of stress on a foundation either from concrete shrinkage or slight foundation movement. Vertical cracks will typically occur off the corners of windows and any place there is a change in direction of the concrete (bump out or corner). In some cases though, they may occur randomly in the middle of the wall.

  • Most vertical foundation cracks are non-structural, meaning the primary goal of the repair is to stop water intrusion. Using a flexible resin allows us to stop the water, even in an environment where there can be slight movement in the foundation. The Pro-Series® Flexible Resin stays flexible, allowing it to move with the crack, while maintaining a waterproof seal. This ensures the crack remains waterproof.

  • Yes, our product “consumes” water as it moves through the crack, meaning our foundation crack sealing injections can be performed on actively leaking cracks.

  • We highly recommend doing a water test 24-48 hours after the injection. Steps for how to do a water test are provided at the time of injection.

The water test performs two functions – it confirms the crack is fully sealed and it can also expose any other weaknesses in the foundation near the repaired area that may not have been visible before.

Once a successful water test is complete, you are clear to replace your drywall.

  • We recommend that you have any pre-existing cracks repaired before closing them in. Over time, hairline cracks exposed to moisture can become larger due to our continuous freeze-thaw cycle in Alberta.

The most cost-effective and least disruptive time to inject a crack is prior to covering it with insulation and drywall. In this situation, we recommend being proactive to save yourself future headaches.

  • LETY Construction provides a Limited Lifetime Warranty on foundation crack injections. This warranty can be transferred to new owners should you sell your home, adding reassurance and offering peace of mind to both sellers and buyers.

Crack Repair Testimonial from Satisfied Clients

  • “I am a first time home buyer, and just after a few days of living in my new house we found water seeping in the basement. Talk about stress.

I looked up a few companies and Lety just presented themselves professionally with there website. The whole process was a breeze. It only took them a couple hours to fix the crack. Everyone was friendly and very professional and the cost of repair was much lower than I was expecting.”

  • “In the process of selling my home the inspector found cracks in the foundation. An after hours email was immediately responded to and Wes was out to inspect the next day at 10am. He gave me a quote and the guys were completed the repair within 48 hours. The crew that came out was excellent to deal with and removed as little drywall as possible making my repair significantly easier. From office staff to field crew, everyone was excellent to deal with and made an awful situation go much better than I expected. I was able to close my sale on schedule all thanks to their quick response.

Thanks to the Lety team and I would recommend them to anyone that needs to have foundation work done.”

  • “Needing emergency service one evening back in April, we weren’t sure of who we could count on...Lety, found on the internet, came through in spades! From their quick response to the (panicked) voicemail I left, to the arrival of the tradesman, we had nothing but top-notch service!

Even Wes, the owner showed up to ensure everything was taken care of. Not only did they fix the initial issue, but identified a crack in the foundation, and some other critical drainage problems.

Their post-repair clean up was a welcome surprise, and billing was efficient and as quoted.

We would highly recommend this company!”
