Our Story
In 2004, Wes Sutherland was living in Prince George, BC and working as a Communication Technician for BC Rail and part-time with the CrackMaster Concrete franchise. When the opportunity presented itself to purchase the Edmonton CrackMaster Concrete franchise, he jumped at it. With his nine-month pregnant wife Rachelle by his side, Wes was Alberta bound!
He has never regretted that decision.

Wes and Rachelle Sutherland, Owners of LETY Construction
Wes worked hard and found success repairing foundation cracks. He quickly built a reputation for quality work and dependable service. By 2006, he helped more than 300 clients, ensuring their homes were dry and their basements safe, functional spaces. To date, he has been in more than 4,000 basements in the Edmonton, Sherwood Park and surrounding area. There’s not much he hasn’t seen!
“As our experience with crack repair grew, so did our exposure to many clients with a range of foundation repair needs. Some foundation cracks were not accessible from the inside, so we started repairing those from the exterior. Sometimes the water intrusion wasn’t only coming from the cracks – it was ground water coming up around the perimeter of the basement. In these cases we started installing interior weeping tile and sump pumps. As the need grew, we responded.”
Over time, LETY Construction continued expanding services to better serve homeowners.
A Little History

Wes and Rachelle move from Prince George, BC to Alberta and Wes gets to work injecting cracks and installing interior weeping tile.

2008
Wes and crew begin offering waterproof membranes and weeping tile on new and existing foundations

2009
Underpinning services are added to address settlement issues, followed by PWF installations in 2010

2012
Name change to LETY Construction to reflect the expansion of offered services. (Fun fact, the name LETY comes from Leah and Ty - Wes and Rachelle’s children)

LETY Construction moves to our current location on Premier Way in Sherwood Park
